started in the FOX league with the CRC before it collapsed due to poor turn out (I was there for all races till the end) and was really enjoying the open wheeled racing. Rules on overtaking must be adheared to in these cars as any kind of contact can be race ending

This will be an exciting league without a doubt and knowing that the top 8 times were under a second difference is amazing.

Using the test patch would prove a problem for me. Example, final turn on final lap and in 1st a 'BUG' causes you goto spectate !!!!!

I dont know about anyone else but that would seriously PEE ME OFF

ok this is getting there, what time and track will be used in the test event? Is it a standard track or user made (car park)?

When the CRC ran The Mini League we had a similar system. The top three in each race had to have a passenger in their car for the next race. If you still finished in the top 3 for the following race then you would have another in the next. This would mean having a maximum of 3 passengers in your car. If you finished out of the top 3 at any time you would remove a passenger. So, technically if you had managed to get 3 passengers it would mean finishing out of the top 3 for 3 races to lose the passengers. This was introduced in season 2 of the Mini League and it was an amazing success. In the last season (which I won ) i had 2 passengers in a few races to slow me down

I voted yes as I have experienced it in the past, but whatever happens this must be decided before the series starts. And as said before, the same version throughout the series. I dont think test patches should be used due to the errors that occur that could ruin someones race

Mine was sent days ago but I am not sure if my team mate has been able to do a lap. I know he was doing times in the low 1:52's but not sure if he has sent a hotlap. If he did it would be under the name of either ATC Evopower or davecrossey14. He is interested in joining the league as he too loves this car as much as me

the HL i sent was only 1:49.51 but that should be ok

just set myself a new pb online at SO5 of 1:49.39

I dont think I can get much faster than my 1:49.51 ,so I think I am happy with my HL Unless I pray for a miracle

Remeber its consistancy over the entire race that will bring the points home NOT hotlap times.

My team mate is yet to do any laps so what happens if he is unable to send a HL? Does he just get put into the Div 2 section???

hotlaps dont allow for racing incidents as there is a clear track. With other racers about it is alot harder to do the really quick times so dont judge the competition by the hotlap times. Racing is completely different.

I was using the SO5R set but didnt reverse it and did a 1:49.51 with it

we are all friendly people and I know that I want to be racing with competitive racers. So, on that note can rc10racer post his set so that everyone has a good and stable quick set to do their hotlap in ??? If not try the inferno setup field for a setup for South City Town SO5.
